CHEMO DAY 70

CYCLE 4 DAY 7

The Mews, Cumberland Lodge. TCTC Conference venue.

My alarm goes off at 5:30 and hurries me off to the fridge to collect my injection and warm it up. I grab a hot cross bun and lucazade to wash my drugs down with and then pack the car. So I self stab and say good bye to my partner and head off for the conferenc, which my sat nav tells me I will be at by 8:30. Its dark and wet and apart from my sat nav suggesting a highly improbable route I get to the M1 in good time and make speedy progress. Of course it doesn’t last and soon I am crawling along the intelligent motorway, which is is having a moron moment. So its crawl fro miles for no apparent reason all the way to the M25. Ah yes I zip along until the traffic backs up and its back to crawling along. Eventually I make it to junction 13 and get off the motorway and head for Engelefield and Cumberland Lodge. I arrive at 9:30 some three and half hours after I set out when it should have taken two hours maximum. No time to register as my bladder is giving me very clear messages about what it thinks of prolonged motorway travel. With much real relief I register, collect my goodie bag and decline the option of facilitating a small group on the grounds that my condition probabley makes it a bad choice. I find my room L30 and settle in prior to the first big group of the day.

I cannot go on with this appalling wifi! I will catch up when I can get a reliable signal. It would seem taking the blog on the road is more difficult than expected.
